Antivirus windows media center




















When the windows media center is On, nothing works in Administration at fist only some things turn green with the windows media center logo, then after a while everything dose and if one clicks on anything the windows media window opens, Windows word I get into, that's about it. Then run the following. Click on Start and type in CMD. EXE and when it shows on the menu right click and choose "Run as administrator". That should run and verify the Windows files of the operating system.

Hi, I went in and activated windows media center to see if it was gone, entered Safe Mode to find the same windows media center in files.

Turned the Media Center off in guest account. Shut down, Re-scanned in CMD. Good day. Please run the following fix. I don't think it's going to correct the Media Center issue but it will clean up and remove some invalid settings. Log looks good. Wish I could help there but not seeing an obvious issue and I've never really used Media Center - I've always used 3rd party programs to do all of that. Thank you Ron for all of your help! I had been in a state of dire panic for a week!

AdvancedSetup Posted September 26, Hello Suzzet and It may just be a setting on your system. If you don't have Malwarebytes 3 installed yet please download it from here and install it. Once installed then open Malwarebytes and check for updates. Once the scan is completed click on the Export Summary button and save the file as a Text file to your desktop or other location you can find, and attach that log on your next reply.

If Malwarebytes won't run then please skip to the next step and let me know on your next reply. Right-click on the program and select Run as Administrator to start the tool. The Microsoft Defender Offline scan takes about 15 minutes to run. It will restart the endpoint when the scan is complete.

The scan is performed outside of the usual Windows operating environment. The user interface will appear different to a normal scan performed by Windows Defender. After the scan is completed, the endpoint will be restarted and Windows will load normally. The following WMI script snippet will immediately run a Microsoft Defender Offline scan, which will cause the endpoint to restart, run the offline scan, and then restart and boot into Windows.

Open the Windows Security app by clicking the shield icon in the task bar or searching the start menu for Defender for Cloud. Microsoft Defender Offline scan results will be listed in the Scan history section of the Windows Security app.
